Working on the sources
In ancient history, innovative perspectives always arise from the constant interplay between a correct philological reading of the sources and the development of larger interpretative models. A close examination or re-examination of the sources is one of the key points of PATRIMONIVM and therefore a series of workshops on specific documentary dossiers and methodological questions has been organized from October 2017 to March 2019. You can find the programme of each workshop below on this page.
International conferences
An international conference on the comparative history of royal/imperial properties in the pre-modern world will be organized in the second half of 2022.
